About Dover Ferry Port

Dover sits at the narrowest point of the English Channel — just 21 miles to the French coast. P&O Ferries and DFDS run frequent crossings to Calais (about 90 minutes) and DFDS also operates to Dunkirk (about two hours). Check-in is normally 75 minutes before sailing; cars, motorhomes, motorcycles, coaches and foot passengers are all carried.
