Cookies are small text files saved on your device by your browser. We use a small number of them, and let our partners use a few more. You can refuse, delete or manage them at any time in your browser settings or via our cookie banner.
Cookies we set directly
- Consent state — remembers your cookie banner choice so we don't ask again. No tracking purpose.
Third-party cookies
- Google Analytics — anonymised usage statistics. Set only after you've accepted analytics cookies. Provider: Google LLC. Retention: 14 months.
- Direct Ferries — when you use the search widget on this site, Direct Ferries set cookies on their domain to attribute the booking to our referral (so we receive commission) and to run their booking engine. See their privacy policy at directferries.co.uk/privacy.htm.
How to manage cookies
You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies by default. Doing so will mean we cannot attribute bookings to our referral, which doesn't affect you but does reduce our income.
