About Holyhead Ferry Port

Holyhead, on Anglesey at the end of the A55 expressway, is the UK's busiest port for traffic to the Republic of Ireland. Stena Line and Irish Ferries both operate the Holyhead-Dublin route, with conventional ferries taking around three hours and 15 minutes and the Irish Ferries fast craft (Dublin Swift) taking roughly two hours seasonally. Direct trains run from London Euston via Chester and Crewe.
