About Newcastle Ferry Port

DFDS sails nightly from the Port of Tyne (Royal Quays, North Shields) to IJmuiden near Amsterdam on the King Seaways and Princess Seaways. The crossing is about 16 hours with onboard cabins, restaurants and entertainment, popular as a mini-cruise as well as a vehicle ferry. The terminal is signposted from the A19 and there is a coach connection from Newcastle Central station.
