Pembroke to Rosslare is Irish Ferries' direct crossing from Pembrokeshire in west Wales to Rosslare Europort in the south-east of Ireland. The ship, the Isle of Inishmore, makes the crossing in about four hours, with two sailings a day, carrying cars, motorhomes, coaches and foot passengers. Rosslare is the gateway to Ireland's 'sunny south-east' — County Wexford's beaches, Waterford and the Viking Triangle, and an easy run on to Cork and the south coast. Pembroke Dock is at the end of the A477, with a railway station nearby, and the route suits travellers heading for the south of Ireland who want to avoid the longer drive to Holyhead. Day and afternoon departures make it a flexible alternative to the Dublin crossings.
